There is a Postdoctoral Research position open in the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory within the Virology Division in the Department of Laboratory Medicine to study new diagnostic approaches to hepatitis B and other viral infections.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in virology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field. The candidate should have sound knowledge in Virology with skills in molecular biology, real-time PCR, and DNA sequencing. Prior experience in HBV is preferable. Strong analytical, writing, communication (in English), and problem solving skills are desired. Salary is based on NIH pay scale.
