The ASM Journals program has added two new online features to better serve researchers.  RSS Feeds allow readers of ASM journals to track updates as soon as they become available, by using a feed aggregator. The following RSS feeds are now available: Current Issue, Accepted Articles (where available), and Section feeds. ASM will continue to maintain the following e-alerts: CiteTrack, which immediately alerts users via e-mail whenever new content matches criteria based on the topics, authors, and articles users want to track; eTOCs, which delivers an e-mail notification when new content is posted online; and ASM Accepts Alerts, which notify users via e-mail when newly accepted manuscripts are available online.

ASM has also added the Email a Friend feature. This service provides a link in the article content box to an easy-to-use interface, allowing a reader to recommend an article by e-mail to a colleague. The colleague receives the friend's recommendation and a URL and citation for the article. We hope you enjoy these enhancements to the online journals.
