King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Dammam (KFSHD) in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.   KFSHD is a tertiary referral hospital committed to serve the health care needs of the eastern province in Saudi Arabia. KFSHD presently has the capacity of 640 patients' beds and has adequate manpower including over 120 doctors and over 300 nurses. In partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, KFSHD seeks well-qualified and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions.

The minimum requirements for this job include bachelor's degree in medical laboratory technology (MT) ASCP. Minimum experience of 3, 5, and 7 years in the specialty field is required for the technologist, senior technologist, and supervisor candidates, respectively. The candidate must have experience with the CAP accreditation and surveys, computer skills, and laboratory information system.  The job duties are to perform, teach, evaluate, and report clinical laboratory tests according to the laboratory protocols, participate in the improvement of quality systems, evaluate and validate new methodologies, write standard operative procedures, instruct and guide the medical laboratory technologists, report all QC/QA in the section, maintain professional competency, prepare the section statistics, participate in the development of the laboratory standards, coordinate and monitor daily workload activities, and support approved research projects. The candidate should demonstrate good managerial and teaching abilities and good communication skills.
