A postdoctoral position is available to investigate the pathogenesis of Helicobacter pylori infection and mechanisms by which H. pylori infection contributes to gastric cancer.    Current projects include investigation of H. pylori toxins (VacA and CagA), the cag type IV secretion system, biomarkers for H. pylori-associated diseases, and mechanisms by which H. pylori induces gastric inflammation in animal models.   Previous research experience in microbial pathogenesis, biochemistry, cell biology, or immunology is desirable.   Please send curriculum vitae and names of three references to Dr. Timothy Cover ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
