A postdoctoral position is available to investigate the pathogenesis of Helicobacter pylori infection and mechanisms by which H. pylori infection contributes to gastric cancer.
Current projects include investigation of H. pylori toxins (VacA and CagA), the cag type IV secretion system, biomarkers for H. pylori-associated diseases, and mechanisms by which H. pylori induces gastric inflammation in animal models.
