The Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University is seeking applications from outstanding candidates for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to head a newly established program on Clostridium difficile, a major cause of antibiotic-resistant, hospital-acquired enteric infection.   A significant track record in C. difficile biology is required, as demonstrated by relevant peer-reviewed publications and significant current NIH support in some aspect of C. difficile pathobiology.  Candidates are expected to teach a course in cell biology and to mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
