The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position with emphasis in basic Medical Microbiology/Immunology.  The successful candidate will be expected to participate in a team-taught academic program in years one and/or two of a comprehensive osteopathic medical school curriculum, and participate in a Master's in Medical Science (medical profession prep-track) curriculum. A recent or established Ph.D. with postdoctoral training is preferred. Salary and appointment level will be commensurate with experience, from assistant to full professor. It is anticipated that the candidate will develop an extramurally fundable research program. Facilities and startup support for research in the candidate's area of expertise are available. WVSOM is located in the picturesque community of Lewisburg, in Greenbrier County, southeast West Virginia.
